Public Transparency; Taxonomy; Integrative ReviewAbstract
This study aims to explore the classifications of public transparency, with the objective of constructing a comprehensive "taxonomy" to describe and identify its typologies. Employing a qualitative approach, a descriptive and bibliographic research was conducted, complemented by a systematic integrative review of relevant literature sourced from the Web of Science (WoS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) databases. Ten works, including books and articles, were identified, facilitating the systematization of public transparency classifications. The findings reveal that transparency can be categorized based on various dimensions, including the direction, variety, initiative, object, and restriction of information. Notably, academic literature commonly refers to transparency in terms of both active and passive initiatives, as well as the specific objects under study.
