Compra de produtos agrícolas para produção de uva: uma abordagem matemática com base em multicritérios

Abstract

Grape is one of the most important agrobusiness culture in the São Francisco Valley, nevertheless, it is a culture that demands a lot of care in relation to its nutrients, such as magnesium, and the increase of the vine’s defenses, through resistance inducers. This article aims to show how the multi-criteria decision can be relevant in agribusiness and seeks to contribute to the choice of products to be purchased, using the AHP method to define the criteria weights, and TOPSIS to rank the magnesium sources and resistance inducers to be used on a farm located in Petrolina-PE. The results obtained in this work allowed us to rank the prod-uct D as the best option for the source of magnesium and the product 2 as the best resistance inducer. Showing that the multicriteria decision can be an important tool in the production process of grapes if properly applied, bringing benefits to the producer such as reducing the costs of agricultural inputs without losing quality in the development of the fruit, and can even be applied in the choice of other products with-in the organization in future works.
